Privacy Policy for LipGuess

LipGuess does not require an account. The app stores only game-related data such as a randomly generated identifier, game progress, scores, and settings. The app displays ads; advertising partners may process technical device and advertising data for this purpose.

2. Data processed by LipGuess

• Random app identifier: an automatically generated UUID that does not contain your name or email address.
• Game data: score, level progress, results, attempts, and unlocked levels.
• Settings: for example language, theme, font size, and sound preference.
• Support data: only when you contact us, we process the information you provide.

Game progress and settings are generally stored locally on your device. LipGuess does not require your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone, or precise location to play.

3. Advertising

LipGuess is supported by advertising. Depending on your device, region, consent choices, and system settings, an advertising service used by the app may process the advertising ID, IP address, device model, operating system, language, approximate location inferred from IP, ad impressions and clicks, consent choices, diagnostics, and fraud-prevention data.

Where required by law, personalized advertising and access to advertising identifiers are used only with your consent. Without consent, non-personalized or contextual ads may be shown. You can reset or delete your advertising ID and change ad preferences in your device's privacy/ads settings. The specific advertising partner and its privacy notice will be identified in the app or consent interface when integrated.

4. Purposes and legal bases

• Providing the game and saving progress: contract performance and/or legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
• Personalized ads and non-essential advertising technologies: consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), where required.
• Contextual ads, security, and fraud prevention: legitimate interests or consent, depending on applicable law.
• Responding to support requests: contract performance and legitimate interests.

5. Recipients and international transfers

We do not sell game-related data. Data may be shared with the advertising service used in the app and technical service providers where necessary for advertising, security, or operation. Providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where applicable, legally required safeguards are used, such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Retention and deletion

Local game and settings data remain until you reset the game's/app's data or uninstall the app. Support messages are retained only as long as necessary to respond and comply with legal record-keeping duties. Advertising partners determine retention under their own privacy notices and your consent choices.

7. Security

We limit processing to data needed for the game and advertising and use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely risk-free.

8. Children

LipGuess is a general-audience game and does not knowingly ask children to provide personal data. Where special age rules apply to advertising or consent, applicable legal and platform requirements will be followed.

9. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and may withdraw consent at any time for the future. You may also complain to a data protection authority. Contact us by email to exercise your rights.
